I have some exciting news. Due to an unanticipated request by the Abu Dhabi government to occupy the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort during our course dates, Anantara Resorts has offered us the opportunity to shift our event to the incredible Sir Bani Yas Island; and we have accepted. The island is home to the Arabian Wildlife Park. Through conservation work and ecological investment, the island is home to free-roaming giraffes, cheetahs, gazelles, and other animals in the thousands. I’m sure this will be a great home for our Enlightened Stillness journey.
Please click here to see a short video of the island.
This change will not impact your air travel plans. The island is just about the same distance from the airports as the previous hotel, but your journey there will be a bit more exciting including a speedboat ride to the island and a drive in a land cruiser to the resort. Just as before, please connect with Milou for assistance with your land and sea travel arrangements at mzweeden@anantara.com.
As you may have read in the last email, there are new covid testing requirements in Abu Dhabi. Please review this link https://visitabudhabi.ae/en/plan-your-trip/covid-safe-travel
To get a head start in providing your vaccination status, please visit https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/guest/index.html#/registerArrivals
Keep in mind that you will need a negative PCR test 48 hours prior to arrival in Abu Dhabi, so if you are first arriving in Dubai or spending some days there before the course, please keep that timing in mind. There is a nurse at the hotel to facilitate the follow-up tests.
